Services:

Before Birth (Prenatal) Visit - $65
Get yourself ready to breastfeed in this one-hour session. You will learn latch-on techniques, optimizing milk supply, normal infant behavior, and discuss concerns you may have to get off to a good start in the first early weeks.  Prenatal visits are especially recommended for expectant mothers who are anxious about breastfeeding or have specific concerns such as prior history of breastfeeding problems, breast surgeries as well as illnesses or medications that could affect the breastfeeding relationship. 60 minutes

Initial Visit - $80 sliding scale
New Client- History of mother/baby, assessment and evaluation of feeding session, weight check with electronic scale, evaluation of infant oral anatomy and mother’s breast, and care path to improve the effectiveness and comfort of breastfeeding. This session also includes age appropriate teaching and infant development in order for the mother to have a better understanding of her baby. 60-120 minutes

Follow-Up visit - $50
Established Clients -The majority of breastfeeding issues can be resolved with one visit however at times breastfeeding challenges take time to resolve and more then one visit may be necessary. At times new problems or concerns can develop such as returning to work, pumping, milk supply, breast or nipple pain, infant colic, reflux, introduction to solids, weaning and other issues, which may necessitate a follow-up, visit

Going back to work Visit - $50
All the information you need for returning to work, school or mothers wanting to know more about pumping and milk storage. Discount on all storage supplies including breast pumps.

Lactation Consultant / Program Coordinator at St. Joseph Hospital

I work M-W-F at St. Joseph Hospital Eureka. I visit and assist all moms and babies after birth as well as working with our babies in the NICU. I am responsible for all staff lactation education and in-services and run all our breastfeeding programs.
